What should I do if someone else tries to access my account?

Change your password and enable 2FA, then reach out to our support team to  help secure your account.

How do I set up 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)?

  1. Sign in to your CadRemit.

  2. Tap More

  3. Tap Settings, then follow the instructions to enable 2FA.


What bodies protect CadRemit?
CadRemit is authorised and regulated by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a Money Service Business (MSB).

How can I delete my account

You can delete your account like this: 
  1. Sign in to your CadRemit.

  2. Tap More

  3. Tap Delete Account


Can I log into my account on more than one device?

No, you can only sign in on one device at a time due to security reasons. 


Are my funds safe with CadRemit?
Yes. We use bank-grade encryption and partner with licensed institutions to ensure your funds are secure.

How can I change my transaction PIN?

  1. Sign in to your CadRemit.

  2. Tap More

  3. Tap Password/PIN/Email, then follow the prompts to change your PIN.


How do I reset my password?
  1. Sign in to your CadRemit.

  2. Tap More

  3. Tap Password/PIN/Email to reset your password easily.


How do I change my email?

  1. Sign in to your CadRemit account.

  2. Tap More.

  3. Tap Password/Pin/Email.

  4. Tap Change Email.

  5. Add the new email address you’d like to use.

  6. Provide a reason for the change, then tap Continue.


Please note that approval for an email change takes 7–14 working days to be processed and your request is subject to compliance review. 

How do I change my phone number?
It’s currently not possible to change your phone number within the app.
