Outgoing Currency Fee
Fees are always determined by the outgoing currency, regardless of the source wallet.
Domestic vs. Cross-Border
Domestic (same-currency transfers): Percentage-based fee with minimum and cap rules.
Cross-Border (different-currency transfers): Typically flat or free.
Free Cross-Border Transfers
Transfers in EUR, USD, and NGN are free of charge.
The CAD Exception
CAD has unique nominal flat fees:
Domestic transfers: $3
Cross-border transfers: $1.50
Eur to Eur - a 0.9% fee applies with a minimum of €3 .
NGN to NGN - a 0.05% applies, with a minimum of ₦200, capped at ₦2,000.
USD to USD - a 0.9% fee applies, with a minimum of $3.
CAD to CAD- a $3 flat fee applies.
Cross-border transfers
USD to EUR is free.
NGN to EUR is free
CAD to NGN is free.
USD to NGN is free.
CAD to USD is free.
Euro to USD is free.
NGN to CAD- a $1.50 flat fee applies.
EUR to CAD- a $1.50 flat fee applies.
USD to CAD- a $1.50 flat fee applies.
What are the limits for deposits?
Deposits for all currencies are unlimited
Minimum deposits:
CAD: $20 CAD.
USD: No minimum deposit
EUR: £1.
What are the limits for transfers?
Please check your CadRemit app for wallet-based transaction limits. And if you want to send more than the available transaction limit, please send a limit upgrade request from the app.
