Do you accept third-party deposits from individuals?
No. We do not accept individual third-party deposits.
  1. CAD: Deposits must originate from a Canadian bank account held in your own name.
  2. USD: Deposits must originate from a US bank account held in your own name. Third-party deposits are only accepted from immediate family members with the same surname as you on your CadRemit account, or from registered businesses.
  3. EUR: Deposits must originate from a registered business or an account held in your own name. Individual third-party EUR deposits are not accepted.

What happens if I receive a third-party deposit?
Any deposit identified as a third-party deposit will be rejected and automatically refunded to the originating account when we receive the deposit.

Where will a rejected third-party deposit be refunded?
The refund will be sent back to the same account from which the original deposit was made. We are unable to redirect the refund to a different account.

Can the refund be sent to another account if the originating account is closed?
No. If the originating account has been closed, we cannot process the refund to an alternative account. Refunds can only be returned to the original originating account.

What should I do if the originating account has been closed?
Please reach out to the bank or financial institution associated with the closed account for assistance. Because refunds can only be returned to the original originating account, we cannot redirect the funds to another account.
