How can I deposit USD into my wallet on CadRemit?

1. Sign in to your CadRemit account. 

2. Tap Deposit.

3. Tap USD Wallet.

4. Then initiate a transfer to the provided bank name, account number and name, and routing number. 

5. You’ll receive a notification confirming your deposit.

5. Add the amount you want to send.

6. Choose  ACH or Push To Card as your transfer option.

No, you can only send USD to a USD account based in the United States.

Can I receive USD from family, friends, or my boss?

Anyone can send you USD.  However, all deposits must come from USD accounts based in the United States.

USD wallet to CAD wallet transfers within the app are not supported at the moment.

How can I transfer USD to my Naira wallet?

USD wallet to Naira wallet transfer within the app is currently not supported.

How can I transfer USD to my Euro wallet?

USD wallet to Euro wallet transfer within the app is currently not supported.

How long does a USD transfer take?

With ACH, USD transfers may take 24-48 business hours to reflect in the recipient account. While Push To Card transfers are instant. 

What information is required to send money to a bank in the USA?

You’ll need the recipient's account name, number, routing number and valid address. 

What is the exchange rate for today?

Sign in to your app and tap Rate at the bottom of the screen. The current exchange rates will be displayed for you.

Can I transfer USD to a USD account?

Yes, you can transfer USD to another USD account. However, the recipient’s USD account must be domiciled in the United States.

What are the supported deposits? 

1. Self-payments directly from your bank account into your virtual account.

2. Payments from registered businesses for freelance work, services, or payroll.

3. Third-Party Payments.
   

It costs $3 to create a USD virtual account. But free if you’re in the US. 

How can I set up a USD virtual account? 

1. Sign in to your CadRemit app

2. Tap  Deposit.

3. Tap  USD.

4. Choose your primary purpose, expected platform, and monthly amount, then tap Continue. 

5. Choose the wallet to debit ( CAD, Euro  or NGN) and tap Request Account.

1. Creating a virtual account requires a valid international passport, NIN, permanent residency card, or driver's license.

2. Anyone can deposit into your USD wallet. But the deposit must come from an account domiciled in the US. 
   

3. Transfers from the USD wallet are allowed to accounts domiciled in the USA.

Please note that our USD account is a checking account. You can send and receive USD at all times.

Can I receive international wires from any country into my account?

Please note that your USD account is only eligible to receive ACH deposits or domestic wire transfers from accounts domiciled in the United States.

What are my USD account limits?  

The maximum amount for third party individual party deposits is $4,000. And there’s no limit for  third party deposit from organisations.. Please take note of the following sending limits:

      1. Daily limit: $5,000 USD.

      2. Weekly limit: $10,000 USD.

      3. Monthly limit: $20,000 USD.

Please note that transfer limits are wallet based. This means that even when you have exceeded your USD transfer limit, you can still send money from your other wallets that are funded and the limits have not been exceeded.
