Can I get a virtual CAD or USD card?

Please note that virtual cards are currently unavailable.


Does CadRemit support Zelle Transfer?

No, at the moment, CadRemit does not support Zelle Transfers.


How do I get my USD Virtual Account details?

  1. Sign in to your CadRemit account. 

  2. Tap Deposit.

  3. Tap USD Wallet to see your bank account details.


Can I use my virtual account to save funds?

No. CadRemit is a remittance app, it’s not built for saving your money.


Can I receive deposits into my USD Virtual account from any account in any country?

No, you can only receive deposits from other USD accounts based in the U.S.


Who can open an account on your platform?

Residents in Nigeria, Canada, the USA, and Europe can open an account on our platform and access available wallet services depending on their country of residence.


What types of wallets can I open?

We currently support:

  • NGN (Naira) Virtual Accounts

  • USD Virtual Accounts

  • CAD Wallets

  • Euro Virtual Accounts

What documents are required to open a Naira account?

You will need:

  1. Your Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  2. Your National Identification Number (NIN)

Is a social security number (SSN) required for USD account opening?

Yes, if you're a USA resident, an SSN is required by our banking partners.

Do non-US residents need to submit an SSN?

No, SSN is only required for users who reside in the United States.


Can all U.S. residents open a USD virtual account?

Only residents in supported states can open a USD account. A list of these states will be available on the app. If your state is not listed, account creation won’t be possible.


Is there a charge to open a USD account?

Yes, there is a $3 fee.


Who can open a CAD wallet?

Anyone can open a CAD wallet, excluding people from Quebec.


Why can’t residents of Quebec create a CAD wallet?

Due to regional regulatory restrictions, we do not currently support onboarding from Quebec.


What do I need to open a CAD wallet?

A valid ID or address is required


Can Canadian residents open a Euro virtual account?

No, Canadian residents cannot open Euro accounts at this time.


Is there a fee to open a Euro account?

Yes, there is a $3 fee


Can I transfer and receive Euros?

Anyone can send Euros.  But only supported recipients can receive Euros.
